June - December

Nestled amongst the charming village of Figueira, just a 15 minute beautiful winding walk from one of the areas most stunning beaches the oasis that is Casa Meranka sits gracefully. Within the pink walls, there are four charming cottages and one larger house, ideal for friends and families, all surrounded with luscious, green courtyards. 

Discover cosy, characterful lounge areas, two large bbq spots to cook your locally sourced and grown food from the market and your own outside dining area to eat alfresco for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After all, this is all what being on holiday is all about. Spend mornings exploring the expansive coastline and afternoons relaxing in the Algarvian sunshine with regular cooling dips in our six meter fresh water pool. 

The combination of birdsong, green plant life, fruit trees and abundance of fresh herbs, Casa Meranka has the ingredients to invite you to slow down, recharge yourself and enjoy the local lifestyle. 

The guest house is made up of four individual cottages and a larger house named, Bay Tree House. Each with their own unique look and feel, from a cosy studio type cottage to our spacious large house with three bedrooms and a big kitchen and bright living room. All with their diversity and charm, you will feel immediately at home.

All the accommodation has its own private outdoor dining areas and shares two luscious green courtyards, providing your own quiet home from home while also offering spaces to share special moments with others. 

During your stay, enjoy the beautiful lounge areas, our herb garden, fresh water 6 meter pool and BBQs. 

Figueira village still holds that special Portuguese charm, the local men sitting and sharing their stories on the corner, the cobbled streets and the colourful houses that create the Mediterranean feel. In the recent years we have been blessed with an organic cafe, non waste shop and homemade pizza restaurant that give the village the treats that from time to time we love so much.

Casa Meranka has been a very special home from home for many holiday makers and so many beautiful memories have been made. We hope you join us to create your own too.
